Concrete in the new kcICON Bridge
Brian Kidwell, P.E. and Bryan Wilkerson joined the show today to discuss the kcICON Bridge which will replace the Paseo/I-35 Bridge over the Missouri River. They discussed the high-strength concrete, the extent of the site, the improvement of on/off ramps, and the iconic beauty of the design. A number of Kansas City design and construction firms are building this bridge for MODOT. Listen to the broadcast.

Christy Martin, Executive Director of the Concrete Promotional Group, and Todd LaTorella, P.E., Executive Director of the Missouri/Kansas American Concrete Pavement Association, joined the show to share some interesting trivia and factoids about the use of concrete in the Kansas City area (and around the world).
